Would it be cheaper to buy or build this loft bed?

I really like this bed, but am not interested in spending $1000. I know about ikea but this bed is so much more useful (because it has the bookshelves and cabinets)

I also like this one except the problem with this one is it is short. The price is fine but i do not want a 5 foot bed if i am aiming for a loft.
cheaper to build… by far if you can do the work…
you can also buy the bookcases and desk new or secondhand and put them together in this shape build the bed to attach at the top paint it all the same add a little trim and have the same thing
