Parents I have a question? children and child support?
have 3 children I have received back pay child support for my 8 year old daughter, I have a son who is 18 and has fines to pay, I have always tried pushing him to cut lawns or do other things to get money to pay off his fines only things that are legal of course, my question is with the back pay would you pay off his fines even though he don’t do anything for himself or use your daughters money for her and some bills? I just want to do the right thing but am conflicted on whether helping him is the right thing or leaving him to help himself is better in the long run. I know my daughter can use extra bedroom furniture as well. Thanks for answering in advance
Let your 18yr old get himself out of his mess. How else is he going to learn from his mistakes.
