Mississippi is famous for its artists and musicians. Famous rock and roll star, Elvis Presley is a Mississippian. Blues was practically born here. The Magnolia Film Festival is well-known among cinema fans around the country. Many writers, like William Faulkner or Tennessee Williams were also born here.

Its geography and climate make Mississippi a state with great potential, although economy needs a little blooming.
