Help! My husband is bugging me for a puppy?
We just lost our cat and we already have one dog, last year we lost 2 cats and we got another dog but she didnt work out for us so we gave her to some people who wanted her, the reason the dog we gave away didnt work was because she was a puppy and very energetic and I have a young daughter and no time or patience for training, that dog chewed on my outdoor furniture and EVERYTHING in sight, now we only have a dog whom I have had for just over 2 years, he is perfect, nice and quiet, doesn’t get aggressive and gets along with all other animals, even lets birds eat out of his food bowl. My husband has been saying we need a new puppy for the last few days and is out looking for one now, when I ask him why he wants one he says because they are fun, he doesn’t even play with the dog we already have!! And he isn’t the one who will be here all day cleaning up puppy poop and wee off the floor. We are going to try for another child next year and I don’t want a puppy! What do I do?
